![]() ![]() Wow, I still could not care less about Taryn and her entire storyline. I feel like we never fully get to see them be honest and open with each other, something that I've been waiting for since the first book, so that was a letdown. It's all well and good that they are clearly in love with each other, but they really need to have a conversation about it. ![]() Although we get hints that her exile was all a part of Cardan's plans and that he tried to contact her while she was in the human world, they never really have a discussion about it. ![]() Once again, my biggest complaint is the lack of time Cardan and Jude spend together. Did Cardan really betray Jude, or was it part of a plan? Will he remain king or will Madoc stage a coup? Will Jude ever get back to Faerie? The Queen of Nothing gives us answers to all of these questions and an overall satisfying ending. I've really enjoyed this series from Holly Black and I love that she left us on such a great cliffhanger at the end of The Wicked King, so of course I was excited to read The Queen of Nothing. ![]()
